Aged for 36 months in French and American oak barrels, this wine is righteously assertive, yet elegantly supple in texture, with cherry, cola, leather and tobacco aromas, and flavors of cherry and dark chocolate bolstered by snappy, smooth tannins. A splash of Malbec enhances the fruity mid palate. Amazing pairing with filet mignon steak with creamy garlic au gratin potatoes.
